Sulawesi is about nature, beach, culture and tradition

Sulawesi has many National Park and its beach is really beautiful. The well-known beach in Sulawesi is Losari and Tanjung Bira beach. Losari beach is located in Makassar, South Sulawesi. You can do many things in there, such as jogging or just walking around. Tanjung Bira beach is located in South Sulawesi. This beach has white sand that makes you want to stay longer in here. But still, there is a lot of beach in Sulawesi you have to visit because of the view is gorgeous!

The National Park in Sulawesi is Bunaken National Park, Wakatobi National Park, Kepuluan Togean National Park, Taka Bonerate National Park, Bantimurung National Park and many more. Bunaken National Park is located in North Sulawesi and near the center of the Coral Triangle, providing habitat to 390 species of coral. This park representative of Indonesia tropical ecosystems. Wakatobi National Park is one of the most visited destinations in Southeast Sulawesi. Wakatobi National Park also has a lot of species of fish. You must do snorkeling and scuba diving to see the beautifulness of those species in that national park.

Not only about nature or the beach, but Sulawesi also has a lot of culture and tradition. One of well-known culture is located in Tana Toraja, South Sulawesi. Tana Toraja has a unique funeral tradition with the ceremonies of reflecting a blend of grief and wealth. The funeral ceremony is a festival which lasts as long as ten days with much feasting and entertainment. A buffalo and a pig are sacrificed to ensure eternal life in the afterlife and to safeguard the descendant.
